She was predeceased by : her husbands, William Hartman Gundling and Richard Tietz. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Parrish Young (Jim) of Independence, Timothy Paul Parrish (Beth) of Blue Springs and Melissa Parrish Welch (Tom) of Beaufort; her grandchildren, Melissa Oberdick McCoy of Weehawken, Heather Oberdick Alpaugh (Micah) of Blue Springs, Kaitlin Jean Scheper of Charleston, Rachael Marie Scheper of Charleston and Jackson Cole Parrish of Blue Springs, Missouri; her great grandchildren, William and Eloise Alpaugh of Blue Springs, Missouri; and her sisters, Faith Beers (Bob) of Bradenton and Janet Irby (David) of Redmond. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In Dottie's honor, donations can be made to the Dementia Society for America.
