It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Plyler (Richburg, South Carolina), born in Pageland, South Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Harrison Plyler and Eula Horne Plyler Banks; and his siblings, Billy Carson Plyler, Charles "Bud" Plyler, Betty "Till" Raffaldt and Mary "Randy" Threatt.

He is survived by : his son Reggie Carpenter of Lexington; and his siblings, Peggy Daughtery (James), Bonnie Leonhardt (Roddy), Joe Plyler (Leslie) and James Banks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
