He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo McClain Howie; his daughters, Sheila Steen (Robby) of Indian Land and Sherry Parker Rivers of Indian Land; and his grandchildren, Noah Steen, Jacob Steen, Ryan Parker and Brooke Parker.
