He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth Rieff; his brother Edward Rieff; his stepfather Edward O'Brien; and his parents-in-law, Rita Cioffi and Ralph Cioffi.
He is survived by: his parent Alice Ottoson Rieff O'Brien; his wife Phyllis Rieff; his daughter Cathieann Rowland (Eric); his grandson Connor John Rowland of Oceanside, NY; and his son Patrick Rieff. He is also survived by father, grandfather, husband and friend.
