She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Tunney Phillips; and her parents, Willian H. Conklin and Faye Brown Conklin. She is survived by: her son Michael Phillips (Carol) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Robert M. Phillips (Misty) and Erica Taylor (Chris); her sister Ruth Cole (Marvin) of Burlington; her sibling's children, Lisa Jones (Keith), Kellie Smith (Randall), Mitchell Conlkin (Kim) and Tony Cole (Dorene); her great-nieces, Mattie Simpson and Heather Talley (Todd); Jase. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
