It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hope McLeod Cappelmann in Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Ashby Cappelmann; her parents, W. H. McLeod, Sr. (Hardee) and Caroline Eve McLeod; and her siblings, Betty McLeod and W. H. McLeod, Jr. (Mac).
She is survived by: her sister Caroline Bowen (Tom O.) of Sunset, SC; her sons, Urbie West (Andrea) of Seabrook, SC and William West (Molly) of Rock Hill, SC; her stepdaughter Mary Ellen Cappelmann of Athens, GA; her grandchildren, Ashby West (Ashley), Drew West (Bri), Chandler West and Griffin West; and her great grandchild Addison West. She is also survived by many sisters, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Carteret Street United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
