He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lynn Rockholt and Minnie Williford Rockholt; his siblings, Jane, William, Johnnie, Harry, Oliver, Bobby and Tommy; and his former wife Ruby Sligh Rockholt.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Nash Rockholt (Duvy); his stepchildren, Beth Carter Melton (Wayne), Tommy Carter (Michelle) and Rick Carter (Kim); his grandchildren, Justin, Laura, Allie, Hannah, Jenna, Whitney and Anna Caroline; and his siblings, Ann Rockholt Reeves (Buddy) and Charlie Rockholt. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Greene's Northwest Chapel, Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of York County at 8177 Regent.
