He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Wayne King, Sr. and Alice Merritt King. He is survived by: his wife Kellye Carroll King; his children, Ashlyn Carroll King (Nick Ryals) of Rock Hill, William "Will" Merritt King, II (Alison) and Weston Stone King; his siblings, Christine K. Rhoad (Rocky) of Rock Hill and Michael Wayne King, Jr. of Rock Hill; and his grandchildren, Will, Dallas and Klay King. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
