Peggy Beard Murdock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Beard Murdock (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Bob Murdock Sr.; and her son Bob Murdock, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Roderick and Kathleen Murdock. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
After a year and a half being self-quarantined in Nicaragua during COVID with her daughter and family, she met her two youngest great-grandsons before she died, shortly after arriving back in Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to the Center for Development in Central America (℅ Sue Williams, 4376 Pennington Rd, Rock Hill SC 29732-8159 or online at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org) to help raise $12, 000 to put solar panels on a health clinic that serves the poorest of the poor in Nicaragua. Peggy had been praying for enough donations raised to see this project realized.
