He is survived by: his wife Doris Taylor McDonald; his daughter Karen Elaine McDonald of Kennesaw, GA; his grandchildren, Bradley M. Whipple of Atlanta, GA and Caroline G. Whipple of Kennesaw, GA.; his brothers-in-law, Johnny M. Taylor, Jr. (Zelia) of Forest City, NC and Tommy Taylor (Janice) of Ellenboro, NC; and his niece Jennifer Kaye (Robert Cymbalski) of Rutherfordton, NC..
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (250 Hudlow Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
