She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace B. Johnston and Vera Taylor Johnston; and her husband Ted E. Carroll. She is survived by: her siblings, Horace B. Johnston, Jr., Frank Taylor Johnston and Margaret Johnston Hembree; her son Larry W. Carroll (Vivian) of Charlotte, NC; her grandson Kristopher W. Carroll (Carolyn); her granddaughter-in-law Tricia Carroll; her great grandchildren, Harlan and Violet Carroll; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keira, Lilika and Nathan Hayes; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Jean Carroll Mangum of Rock Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who were like her own children.
