He was predeceased by: his parent Edith Nancy Ezell Whiteside. He is survived by: his parent Wayne O'Neal Whiteside, Sr.; his wife Tonya Michelle Emmett Whiteside; his children, Heather Whiteside of Rock Hill, Kaylan Whiteside of Rock Hill, Madison Whiteside of Rock Hill and Janis Bryant of Rock Hill; and his siblings, Michael Whiteside (Melissa) of Clover, Kevin Whiteside (Beth) of Louisiana and Jerri Cook of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Wayne O'Neal Whiteside, Jr.'s name to the Children's Attention Home, PO Box 2912, Rock Hill, SC 29732-2912.
