He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Melton and Estelle Melton; and his brother Michael Melton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Melton; his daughter Tammy Nicholson (Michael) of Pageland, SC; his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Aleah and Daniel; his brother James R. "Bobby" Melton of Ruby, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Jami, Floyd, Jackson and Jamison.
