He is survived by: his close friend Viola Felder; his children, Oscar Edwards (Barbara Elmore) of St. George, SC, Lurene Kelly of St. George, SC, Ada Berry (Eddie) of Bowman, SC, Ronald Martino of St. George, SC, Shawn Calvin (Frederick) of St. George, SC and Ladedra Carson (Henry Summers); his grandchildren, Sierra Kelly, Tavarious Berry, Christopher Martino, Kiersten Martino, Torrey Elliot, Amavri, Torrian Elliot and Harmony Summers; his great grandchild Kassidy Mack; his siblings, Lavrene Carson Frazier, Maggie Carson (Louis Carn) and Richard Carson (Eartha); his siblings' children, Sandra Carn McCord, Ruth Carson and Vincent Peppers; and his cousin Rosa Lee Wolfe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
