She was predeceased by: her husband William Leon Lane, Sr. of St. Helena Island, SC; her parents, Henry E. McKenzie and Evelyn Sauls McKenzie; her children, David M. Lane and Linda G. Lane; her son-in-law James W. Hudson; and her great grandchild Katelyn Vinson.
She is survived by: her children, William L. Lane, Jr. (Jamie), Richard L. Lane, Sr. (Virginia), Curtis G. Lane, Sr. (Heidi), Debra A. Hudson and Edith M. Kirchheim (Bill). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (611 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Beaufort, SC 29906). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Helena Baptist Church or Amedisys Hospice Care.
