He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Phillip Winnen and Norma Jean Eubank Winnen; and his brother Gregory B.. He is survived by: his spouse Lornia Mae Ross Winnen; his children, Richard L. Winnen (Amanda), Stephanie L. Lee (Adam) and Tabitha L. Winnen; his grandchildren, Abigail, Hayley, Emmaline and Sawyer; and his brothers, James F. and Thomas R. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (655 Hammond Cross Rd, St Matthews, SC 29135). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
