He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Chapman and Agnes Chapman; and his brothers, Bobby "Goat", Larry, Ray, David "Dooley" and James "Poogie" Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Chapman; his son John; his grandchildren, Donielle Chapman, Jennifer Abercrombie and Randy James Abercrombie; his great grandchildren, Julius "Boppy" Norris, Mitch and Alexus Blake; and his sisters, Pat Walker, Linda Marullo, Evelyn Derrick and Ilene Williams.
Mr. Chapman requested no flowers, instead donations to be made to the Boys Farm in Newberry or WW Wyman King Academy.
