She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thurmond Maffett and Flora Mabel Turner Maffett; her husband Floyd Tracy "Jack" Whittle, Jr.; her sons, Darrell Marion Whittle and Cecil Allen Whittle; her grandsons, Darrell "Mason" Whittle and Christopher Everette Martin; and her siblings, Thomas Marion Maffett, Ruben Milton Maffett, James Marvin Maffett, Melverta Maffett Rushton, Elizabeth Maffett Cockrell and Lorene Maffett Karter.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Anthony Whittle (Linda) of Crestview, FL, Jackie Lynn Whittle Martin (Richard Gibbs) of Lugoff, Chrisse Renee Whittle of Saluda and Rhonda Denise Whittle Willis (Nathan) of Saluda; and her sister-in-law Uschi Maffett of West Columbia. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (1305 Shiloh Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
