He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Seth Temples and Palm Corley Temples; his spouse Myrtie Magdalene Cockrell Temples; and his siblings, Noah Temples, Zeke Temples, Patterson Temples, Jakie Temples, Bazzie Temples, Bennett Temples, Ellis Temples, Nora Temples, Leota McKnight, Georgia Cockrell, Frances Minick and Katheryn Rose Sheppard.
He is survived by: his children, Elliott Temples (Linda) of Greenwood, Patricia Adams (Clyde) of Saluda, Carolyn Vines (Rodger) of Saluda, Tami Bodie of Saluda and Judy Galloway of Ninety Six; and his sister-in-law Girlie Temples of Saluda. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
