She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Witt and Maggie Lou Green Witt; her son Mark Lee; her sister Annelle Butler; and her granddaughter Abigail Lee.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Ed Smith; her son David Lee (Hope) of Mississippi; her stepchildren, Donna S. Davis (Jerry) of Saluda, Kathy S. Royston (Chet) of Greenwood and Danny Smith of Saluda; her friend Christy Troutman; her siblings, Wayne Witt (Terry) of North Carolina and Brenda Witt of Greenwood; and her brother-in-law Jones Butler of Saluda. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
