She was predeceased by : her parents, Otis Norman Shuler and Mildred Felkel Shuler. She is survived by : her husband Leon Powers; her children, Tripp McElveen (Leigh) of Sumter and Robin Miller (Rob) of Leesville; her siblings, Donald Shuler of Sumter and Mary Hope Fields (Harry) of Charleston; and her grandchildren, Haile McElveen, Caroline McElveen, Abby Aull and Berton Aull. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
