He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sybil Yarborough Springs and Willie Leroy Springs; his wife Katherine "Kathy" Schaff Springs of Lake City; his daughters, Amanda Sneed (Matthew) of Lake City, Terri Gibbons (Chris) of Florence and Anna Coker (Corey) of Florence; his grandchildren, Aubrey Springs, Blaine Springs, Elijah Gibbons, J. T. Gibbons, Katherine Gibbons, Hadlee Gibbons and Emily Coker; his siblings, Franklin "Stein" Springs of Effingham, Sherry McClary of Lake City and Chris Springs (Elizabeth) of Chesapeake, VA.; his child Baby Sam; and his siblings, Johnny Springs, Shelia Springs and Roy "Roger" Springs.
Due to COVID-19, private funeral services will be at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.
