He was predeceased by: his parent Mildred Sarah Miles; his son Kip Powell; and his siblings, Linda Gail Turner and Charles Miles. He is survived by: his parent Robert Moultrie; his children, Randal Paul Miles (Miranda), Carroll "Gator" Powell (Lynn Miles) and Margie Ann Powell of Johnsonville; his grandchildren, Austin Paul Miles, Haley Ann Miles, Joseph William Miles, Dillon Christopher Miles, Saige Howell, Shayla Howell, Creasie Parrott and Gaitland Powell; his great grandchild Timothy Hyatt Miles; his sister Dorothy Morris (James) of Coward Burrhead; and also, Sonnie Buck and Cook.
