She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Powell and Sandra Faye Cooper Dickson; her brother John Powell; and her stepfather Roy William Dickson. She is survived by: her husband Melvin France Rochester; her children, Stephen Rochester (Bethany), Roman Rochester (Courtney) and Faye Rochester (James); her siblings, D. J. Powell and Tonya Mathis; her stepmother Norma Powell; and her aunt Jean McClamma. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
