She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Clinton A. Richardson of Seneca; her parents, Royce Whitworth and Gladys Brock Whitworth; and her sisters, Doris Carter and Beth Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Todd Carter (Amanda Stephens) of Seneca, SC, Kyle Royce Carter (Brenda Alexander) of Seneca, SC and Shaun Ryan Carter of Elkton, VA; her grandchildren, Alexander J. Carter of Salem and Shayna Lynn Carter of Harrisonburg; her stepgrandson Bryce Stephens of Seneca, SC; her sister Linda Davenport; and her close friend Jimmy Brock.
