He was predeceased by: his parents, Alda Ewing and George McNeal. He is survived by: his spouse Zula; his children, Charlene Ewing and Tyrone Ewing of Texas; his grandchildren, Charlena Purdie, Sedrique Ewing and Channél Ewing; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara McDonald and John McDonald.
