With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Miller Griffin (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Caldwell Griffin, Sr.; her parents, Henry Grayson and Virgia Viola Markham Miller; her son Jeff Griffin; and her siblings, Marie Miller Maus and Sam Miller.
She is survived by: her children, John C Griffin, Jr., Jimmy Griffin and Cathy Callahan (Lou); her grandchildren, Jimmi Leigh Griffin (Zach Thrasher), Grayson Griffin (Brooke), Louie Callahan (Candace), Patti Francis (Matt), Griffin Callahan and Maddie Stockton; and her great grandchildren, Ford, Gavin, Campbell, Cal, Barron and Louis Lester Callahan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
