She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Monroe Thomas and Eloise Sawyer Thomas; her siblings, Andrea Denise Thomas Martin and Randy Monroe Thomas; her brother-in-law Stanley Aaron Martin; her nieces, Juquana Dwan Whiteside, Lawana Monique Whiteside, Sequana Dominique Whiteside, Brandy Monique Thomas Jeffries and Keianna Shadae Thomas; and her nephew Darren Rashad Thomas. She was also cherished by great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The lying in state was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel (602 Howard St, Spartanburg, SC 29303). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
