He was predeceased by: his parents, Basford Belew Bryson and Onida Scott Bryson; his wife Carolyn Elaine Moore Bryson; and his sisters, Celia Gettys and Mary Wilson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Bryson (Kim McCrary) of Brevard, NC, Barry Bryson (Denise) of Spartanburg and Benjamin Bryson of Charleston; and his brother Scott Bryson of Michigan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg Missions.
