She was predeceased by : her parents, Stella Elizabeth Cox Copeland and Richard Grady Copeland; her husband Charles Wilder Tilton, Jr.; and her sister Annette Copeland Garrett (Frankie). She is survived by : her daughters, Stephanie Rogers Smith (Stuart) of Spartanburg and Lydia Kay Combs of Cary, NC; and her grandchildren, Ellis, Matthew Smith, Olivia and Samuel Combs. She is also survived by niece and two nephews.
