It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Turner Hill (Spartanburg, South Carolina), who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Lee and Mamie Flynn Tate; her husband Roger Louis Hill; and her siblings, Jesse Tate and Mollie Jean Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Turner (Angie), Gary Turner (Tracy) of Cowpens and Cynthis Turner of Cowpens; her stepson Michael Hill (Paige) of California; her grandchildren, Ryan Turner (Janice) of Texas, Joshua Turner (Christina) of Boiling Springs, Kyndal Patat (Ben) of Travelers Rest, Mary Turner of Cowpens, Sarah Turner of Cowpens and Laylah Turner of Cowpens; her stepgrandsons, Trevor, Tanner and Travis Hill of California; and her brother Wayne Tate of Boiling Springs. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
