It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Cook of Spartanburg, South Carolina, born in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson M. Cook and Mildred Lister Cook; his son Travis Michael Cook; and his brother Steve L. Cook. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Mason Cook; his son Tim Cook (Tamara) of Inman, SC; his granddaughter Marisa Cook; and his brother John L. Cook (Jane) of Hendersonville, NC..
