Evelyn Aliree Waddell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Aliree Waddell (Spartanburg, South Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herbert and Alice Mae Womick; her husband Ronald Douglas Waddell; and her siblings, Betty Fowler and Tommy Womick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Waddell Emory (Ronnie) and Alecia Gilmore (Jay); her brother Wilburn Womick; her grandchildren, Brittany Yerkes, Morgan Barnes (Tanner), Madison Gilmore, Will Gilmore (Brady) and Walker Gilmore; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Tyler and Amelia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
