He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Mahaffey and Minnie Mahaffey; and his brothers, Roy Mahaffey and Robert Mahaffey. He is survived by : his significant other Joan Taylor Mahaffey; his children, Angela Lee (Boyce), Heidi Cole, Pamela Babb (Bobby) and Scott Emory (Edie); his great great grandchild Sadie; and his siblings, Floyd Mahaffey and Oletta Turner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
