It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Garner Bagnal of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garner Bagnal Jr. and Alice Baker Bagnal; his brother Richard Bagnal of Spartanburg, SC; and his brother-in-law Ed Earle of St. Augustine, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Rash Bagnal; his daughters, Jennifer Bagnal Horton (Greg) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Candace Bagnal Nettles (Neth) of Spartanburg, SC and Allison Bagnal Cranford (Shaun) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Anne Gregory Horton, Zella Horton, Sam Horton, Liam Nettles, Garner Nettles, Will Cranford and Hayes Cranford; his sisters, Cinda Earle of St. Augustine, FL and Margaret Bagnal (Doug Neill) of Avondale, PA; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bagnal of Spartanburg and Mark Rash of Mooresville, NC; and his mother-in-law Lorene Rash of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Spartanburg Children's Advocacy Center, 100 Washington Place, Spartanburg, SC 29302 or St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 in lieu of flowers.
