He is survived by: his wife Patsie Sims Dawkins; his son Jimmie Dawkins Jr.; and his siblings, Emitt Dawkins (Madora), Ozell Dawkins (Louise), Charles Dawkins (Kathleen), Willie Dawkins Jr., Leroy Beam, Mary E. Browning and Christine Dawkins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home (1247 Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church (635 Neal Shoals Rd, Union, SC 29379).
