He is survived by: his wife Janice McCraw Poole; his children, Eric Poole (Susan) of Charlotte, NC, Cindy Poole Benson (Mark) of Raleigh, NC and Heather Elane Poole of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Emily, Carson, Collin Poole of Charlotte, Natalie Dickman of Raleigh, Elizabeth and Cate Schwendimann of Spartanburg; and his sister Mary Ann Poole Clary of Gaffney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
