She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennis C. Hill and Gatha Jones Hill; her husband Henry William "Bill" Petry; her son William Foster Petry; and her siblings, Paul, Robert Hill and Bernice Bowers.
She is survived by : her daughters, Denyse Caroline Petry of Spartanburg and Susan Elizabeth Petry of Spartanburg. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to one's favorite charity.
