Joe Jenkins Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Joe “Papa Joe” Jenkins, who left us peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the age of 82.

Born on September 25, 1942, in Wellton, Arizona, Papa Joe was known for his kind spirit, his wisdom, and the love he carried for his family. To those who knew him, he was more than a father, grandfather, and friend. He was a steady presence and a source of comfort. He was always willing to help whenever he could, and even people who grew close to him affectionately called him Papa Joe. His energy was amazing, and it touched everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving family, including daughter Teresa Jenkins, along with her children, granddaughter Madison Adams from his late daughter Pamela Adams, and great granddaughter Paisley Little from Madison.

The family will be holding a private service to honor his life.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing his love and legacy remain with us always. We truly appreciate all the kind words, thoughtful messages, and phone calls that have been shared with us during this difficult time.
