He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Means and Mary Robinson Means; and his siblings, Jessie Means, Jr., Johnnie Means, Dennis Means, Willie Lee Means, Rickie Means, Annie Bivings, Kay Francis Swindler, Mary Alice Keenon, Louise Hollis, Minnie Lee Kearns and Rosa Fowler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Ross of Arlington, VA and Sheila Williams of Duluth, GA; and his siblings, Bensolo Means of Spartanburg, SC and Joann Jones of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
