He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Meador and Amerzine Hooker Meador; and his siblings, Morris Meador, Eugene Meador, Freeman Meador, Anthony Meador, Asta Marie Lyles, Balva Wilkes, Betty Faye Meador and Barbara Ann Meador.

He is survived by : his wife Myra Meador; his children, Nehasse Rogers, Tanganika Foster, Yacosa Foster, Shamangla Rogers and Shaedra Bogan (Antwain); and his brothers, Lewis Meadows and Walter Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
