With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Seeley Barnett in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joyce Seeley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joyce Seeley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Seeley and Gladys Seeley. She is survived by: her brothers, James W. Seeley and Morton E. Barnett; her son Jason N. Barnett; and her grandchildren, Cody J. Neely and Caroline M. Barnett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boys' Latin School of Maryland (822 W Lake Ave, Baltimore, MD 21210).
In lieu of flowers Mrs. Barnett asks for a donation to the Maryland Food Bank.
