He is survived by : his wife Kathy Cont Fehr; his children, Cornelia Cont Springer of Lorton, VA and Patrick L. Cont (Wendy) of Spartanburg, SC; and his grandchildren, Emma Lillian Cont of New York, Elliott Luciano Cont of Spartanburg, Josephine "Josie" Sierra Springer of Lorton, VA and Isabelle Kailen Springer of Lorton, VA..

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (309 Fernwood Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A reception was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Carolina Country Club (2355 Carolina Country Club Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29306).
