He was predeceased by: his parents, James Enloe and Mabel Lois Raborn Adams; and his brother James E. Adams, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Adams; his children, Susan Ryan (Steve) of La Porte, TX, Gary Adams (Jean) of Pearland, TX and Linda Fabian (Greg) of Boiling Springs, SC; his grandchildren, Jason Roberts (Melanie), Brandi Avevalo (Arron), Clayton Long (Heather), Sarah Romain (Wendell), Kylee Cordle (Charles), John Adams (Alani) and Matthew Fabian (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, Elijah, Noah, Ainsleigh, Chloe, Baileigh, Abigail, Liam, Cohen, Ivan, Asher and Hannah; and his brother-in-law Marion Kruse (Ashley).
