She is survived by: her sons, Ernie Thigpen (Peggy) and Tim Thigpen; her grandchildren, Zachary Thigpen (Charlotte), Taylor Lena Abbasi (Andrew) and T. J. Thigpen (Hannah Grace); and her great grandchildren, Aaron and Adalae Abbasi.
