Robert Ladson Berry Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ladson Berry of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Spartan and Sara Foster Berry. He is survived by: his wife Susan Lee Berry; his children, Lee Berry, Isabel Sloan (Brett) and Grace Elliott (Matt); his grandson Michael Sloan; his brother Carl Berry (Kathy); his sister-in-law Dianne Lee; his niece Jessica Skinner (John C.); his nephew Christopher Berry (Spencer); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carlisle, Winn and Piers.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory (690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (250 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29306).
