She was predeceased by: her parents, Newman Henry Henderson and C. E. Ezell Henderson; and her sister Odetta Henderson McGarity. She is survived by: her husband William A. Sutherlin; her children, Rhonda Sutherlin (Al) of Stuart, FL, Lisa Sutherlin Bird of Florence, SC, William Lee Sutherlin (Jennifer) of Waynesville, NC and Robert Gray Sutherlin (Cynthia) of Farmington Hills, MI.; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Dawkins, Preston Dawkins, Laura Townley, Ashley Humrickhouse, Beau Sutherlin, Blake Sutherlin, Brett Sutherlin and Luke Sutherlin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel (2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
