He was predeceased by: his parents, Zack Barr McCoy, Jr. and Jessie LeRoy Rhodes McCoy; his wife Pamela "Pam" Yates McCoy; his brothers, Zack B. "Sonny" McCoy, III and Michael LeRoy McCoy; and his niece Jessica McCoy Wright.
He is survived by: his son Zack Y. McCoy (Leslie); his grandchildren, Mallori Jessie McCoy (MJ) and William James McCoy (Will) of Spartanburg; his pet Squirt; and his sibling's children, Michael McCoy of Columbia, SC, Zack "Barr" McCoy, Morgan McCoy and Lisa McCoy Hill.
