With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Scott of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Scott and Earline Scott; his siblings, Stanley Scott and Paulette Scott; his daughter Crystal Scott; and his granddaughter Baby Caroline.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Cindy Dickens of Moncks Corner, SC; his children, Steven Scott, Sr. of Summerville, SC, Anthony Scott, Jr. of Summerville, SC, Brenda Tumbleston (Kurt) of Summerville, SC and Tamra Scott (William) of Moncks Corner, SC; his stepchildren, Melissa Kennedy of Moncks Corner, SC and Tommy Kennedy of Summerville, SC; and his siblings, Elvis Sweat of Ridgeville, SC, Ricky Sweat of Ridgeville, SC and Patsy Hooker of Denver, CO. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren; and twenty four greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summerville Family Worship (407 N Magnolia St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (453 N Mano St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at the Summerville Cemetery (1330 Boone Hill Rd, Summerville, SC 29483).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Anthony's name may be made to the church.
