With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Hennessy of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Stirrat, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Branscome and Wilma Branscome; her husband Robert F. Hennessy; her siblings, Bobby Branscome, Dreama Preston, Ruth Mandt, Kay Cummings and Carl Branscome; and her sister-in-law Marna Hennessy.

She is survived by : her daughter Sondra Hennessy Miller of Summerville; her grandchildren, Ryan Miller of Montgomery, AL and Laurel Miller of Birmingham, AL; her sisters, Lorraine Petersen of Branson, MO and Sue Gross (Bruce) of Heathsville, VA; and her sister-in-law Sondra Swenson (Bruce) of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Facial coverings and social distancing are required.
